About Slice of Summer
Our Story
For over 40 years the Slice of Summer has livened up summer nights in Canby.
This beloved annual concert series is performed in the gazebo and has been a Canby favorite since 1983—first by the Canby Arts Association, then continued by the High School Booster Club and other energized individuals. The current Slice of Summer board has proudly carried on this tradition for several years and is committed to its continued success in the years to come.

At Slice of Summer, our mission is to create a fun and exciting family friendly environment where music lovers can come together to enjoy great music, make new friends, and create lasting memories. We believe that music has the power to bring people together and inspire positive change.

The 2026 Slice of Summer Concert series has something for everyone.
June 28th - CHS Jazz Band (Jazz from our next big stars) & Special Guest
July 12th - Eli Howard & The Greater Good (folk singer with a rock band)
July 26th - Bridgetown Get Down (80's & 90's pop covers)
Aug 9th - Cherrytree Road (country/folk family band)
Aug 23rd - Norman "Boogie Cat" Sylvester (rhythm & blues)
Enjoy FREE live music in Wait Park on Sunday nights from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
We will have food vendors for grabbing snacks or dinner at the park.
